Queens finest filled the Knockdown Center on Fat Tuesday to see Schneps Communications recognize the borough’s best and brightest at their annual Stars Under 40 Awards & Networking event. Festive Mardi Gras inspired decor filled this expansive space—perfect for events, due to its sheer size, and variety of raw and elegant textures. Balloons were the perfect medium; the intense colors, sparkle and glow had more visual impact, dollar for dollar, than any other form of decor. In fact, no other medium can fill space as economically and effectively as balloons. Take a look at some of the behind the scenes photos of the setup below.
Vibrant purple, green and gold latex balloons, along with golden stars, lots of air, and a bit of helium was all it took.
14 Star Topped Balloon Columns were created to align against the exposed wooden beams to make the honorees feel like the stars they are!
The tables were set with large 3ft balloon centerpieces floating above. Each centerpiece adorned with metallic ribbon and collars for a chic design.
The honorees—one being Bunch of Balloons' Founder, Shanta Speller, were presented with a star-topped trophies for the work they do in their businesses and communities.
